Quebec-based Focus Translations was founded by Carrie Wallace, who draws on a wealth of professional experience which includes work as a journalist, business consultant and marketing officer for commercial banking at one of Canada's big-six banks. Today, the Company works with a team of French and English, highly experienced professionals, each with their own industry specific specializations, who translate solely into their mother tongue. A solid range of competencies, drawn from several years in the translation industry and sector specific references including: agribusiness, performance arts and theater, human resources, business and economy, tourism, pharmaceuticals, marketing, finance, etc., allow Focus Translations to satisfy demand from corporate clients requiring one-stop outsourcing solutions.

Although creating precision translations requires highly experienced professionals, translation has never been exclusively about the written word. Today, that is more true than ever as the level of productivity, accuracy and consistency has improved tenfold largely as a result of innovations in industry specific technology.
